American Bully Puppies for Sale in California

Raised in the house in Sedona, Arizona, and brought to California by road. Every puppy is $700.

I’m in Sedona, Arizona, not in California, and I’d rather say so than build a page pretending I’ve a kennel down the road from you. Southern California is a comfortable single day. For the Bay Area and Sacramento I leave early to clear the desert stretch before the afternoon heat.

Delivery to California

1 day by road across 450 to 800 miles. The vehicle is climate-controlled, the stops are regular, and the same person is with the puppy from Sedona to your door.

If you’d prefer air travel, a flight nanny carries the puppy in the cabin instead. What I won’t do, ever, is put a dog in a cargo hold.

What a puppy costs delivered to California

Every puppy is $700, whatever its size class and whatever its colour. Tell me whereabouts you are and you’ll get one number with nothing added afterwards.

What the first year actually costs, which is more than the puppy.

What California actually permits

California doesn’t let a city ban a breed. What it does permit, under the Food and Agricultural Code, is a breed-specific spay and neuter requirement, and several California counties have used exactly that power for pit bull type dogs. The distinction matters: your city can’t tell you the dog isn’t allowed, but it may be able to tell you the dog has to be altered.

It’s worth understanding how that gets applied. An animal control officer classifies by appearance, not by paperwork. An American Bully is a separate breed with its own history, but it will usually be read as pit bull type on sight, and arguing the classification at the counter has never once worked for anybody. If you’re in a county with an altering requirement, plan for the neuter and move on.

Ordinances change and this isn’t legal advice. The state-by-state dog law tables at Michigan State University are the reference collection if you want to read the statute yourself. Whatever your state does, the two things worth confirming in writing before you commit are your own city or county code and your landlord, association or insurer, because private rules aren’t affected by any state law. Ask me to hold a puppy while you check. I’ll.

The lease is the real obstacle in California

More California sales fall through on a rental agreement than on anything else, by a wide margin. Between the rental share of the market in Los Angeles and the Bay Area, insurer breed exclusions, and HOA rules in the newer developments, there are three separate places a seventy pound bully can be refused, and none of them are the city.

Get it in writing before you send a deposit rather than after. A one-line email from a property manager confirming the breed and the adult weight is enough, and it’s the single most useful thing a California buyer can do before committing. I’ll hold a puppy while you get it.

Cities I’ve delivered to in California

Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento, Fresno, San Jose among others. If your town isn’t on that list it changes nothing: the route is the same and the handover is to your door.

Every puppy is vet checked by Bell Rock Veterinary Clinic in Sedona before it travels, and goes with a written health record. I don’t screen or certify the parents and don’t claim to. What I actually do · What comes with your puppy · Sales policy

Questions before you commit?

Ask them now rather than after. I answer these myself, so you’re talking to the person who raised the litter rather than to a sales desk.
