American Bully Puppies Under $1,000
Mine are $700, which is under a thousand without any qualifying conditions. Here’s what that does and doesn’t include.
Every puppy I sell is $700, so all 10 of them are under $1,000. Not a starting price, not one puppy in the litter, not conditional on colour or class. XL and pocket, blue and brindle, male and female: $700 each, with nothing added at the end.
How a bully is under $1,000 without being a bad buy
The obvious question about a $700 puppy in a market where the same dog is advertised at three thousand is what has been cut. The whole answer:
One kennel, one person. I raise the litters myself in my own house. No facility to rent, no staff, no handler, no show circuit, no advertising budget. Those are real costs for a larger operation and they sit underneath a three thousand dollar price tag. They’re simply not costs here.
No broker. You buy from the person who raised the puppy. Listing sites take a substantial margin and going direct removes it.
Nothing priced by fashion. A blue tri costs what a brindle costs. An XL costs what a pocket costs. The market charges more for both and I’ve decided not to.
What is included at $700
- Veterinary examination by Bell Rock Veterinary Clinic before the puppy travels
- DHPP, covering distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza and parvovirus, with a booster and canine influenza at ten weeks
- Worming every two weeks from two weeks old
- A written health record with dates, in your hand at collection
- Enough of its current food to change over gradually
- I’ll take back any dog I’ve bred, at any point in its life, with no time limit and no questions asked.
I don’t screen or certify the parents and won’t claim I do. What I do is have every puppy examined by Bell Rock Veterinary Clinic before it leaves, and the dates go on the record that travels with the dog.

The number that actually matters
The purchase price is the smallest line in the first year. Budget $1,900 to $3,600 for twelve months including the puppy: neuter, vaccinations, food for a dog reaching seventy pounds, a crate bought at adult size, and a training class.
Somebody choosing between a $700 puppy and a $2,500 one is deciding roughly eight percent of what they will spend on the dog over its life. The full breakdown.
