I’m in Sedona, Arizona, not in Houston, and I’d rather say so than build a page pretending I’ve a kennel down the road from you. Houston is about 1,150 miles, which is a two-day drive, and it’s the single hardest climate I deliver a puppy into.
Houston humidity is the real problem
Gulf coast humidity is worse for this breed than raw temperature, because panting is evaporative cooling and it stops working when the air is already saturated. A ninety-five degree day in Houston is harder on a bully than a hundred and five degree day in Phoenix.
From May to September my Houston runs go overnight, and I’ll move a date rather than take a puppy through a heat advisory. For your own dog, that means the summer routine is genuinely restrictive: early and late walks only, air conditioning through the middle of the day, and knowing what early heat stress looks like.
Texas law
Texas prohibits any municipality from regulating dogs by breed, so Houston can’t ban the breed and doesn’t. What Texas does have is a serious dangerous dog framework that turns on the conduct of the individual animal. The full Texas position.
Getting one to Houston
Two days by road, driven the whole way in a climate-controlled vehicle with regular stops, or one day with a flight nanny into Bush or Hobby who carries the puppy in the cabin. Never as cargo. At this distance in summer, most Houston buyers take the nanny and I would too.

$700 whatever the class and whatever the colour. Vet checked by Bell Rock Veterinary Clinic before travel, a written health record, enough food to change over gradually, and delivery to all fifty states that never involves a cargo hold.
I don’t screen or certify the parents and won’t claim I do. What I do is have every puppy examined by Bell Rock Veterinary Clinic before it leaves, and the dates go on the record that travels with the dog.
