Four real seasons and a humid July
Missouri summers are humid enough to matter for this breed. Mid-July in St. Louis regularly combines high nineties with heavy air, which is the combination that defeats a short muzzle, and the same caution applies there as on the Gulf coast even though nobody thinks of Missouri as a hot state.
The winters are the easy half of the year. Cold suits a bully far better than heat does. My own runs into Missouri go overnight from May onward for the same humidity reason, and are unrestricted the rest of the year barring an ice storm across the plains.
