Micro isn’t a recognised class. It’s a marketing term for a pocket American Bully bred shorter and more compressed. I sell dogs described as micro because that’s what people search for, and I say plainly on this page that risk rises as a dog gets shorter.

What you’re actually buying
A very short, very wide bully, typically 11 to 15 inches at the withers though there’s no defined range because there’s no standard. It’s a pocket bred further along the same curve.
The trade-off, stated plainly
The traits that make a dog micro rather than pocket are the traits associated with trouble: a shorter airway means harder breathing and worse heat tolerance, shortened legs under the same mass change joint loading, and more wrinkle means more skin fold disease. Not every micro is unhealthy. The risk curve rises with the compression, and the money points that way.

What to check
Look at the parents. Can they breathe quietly at rest? Can they move freely away from you and back? Were the litters delivered naturally? Those three questions tell you more than any price does.
