The hardest climate I deliver into
Mississippi is the most demanding state on this list for a short-muzzled, heavy dog. The Gulf humidity through summer combines with high temperatures to produce conditions where a bully can get into trouble quickly, and the window for outdoor exercise narrows to early morning and after dark for a good part of the year.
That shapes how I travel there. Deliveries run overnight from spring through to October, and I would rather move a date by a week than take a dog through a heat advisory on the southern corridor.
