Ground transport is 3 days across 1,900 to 2,100 miles, driven the whole way in a climate-controlled vehicle with regular stops.
A flight nanny is one day. The courier flies with the puppy in the cabin and hands it to you at arrivals. At this distance most South Carolina buyers choose the nanny, and I would too.

South Carolina doesn’t permit breed bans
South Carolina prohibits its local governments from enacting breed-specific ordinances, so no South Carolina city or county can ban an American Bully. The state instead runs a dangerous dog statute aimed at individual animals and their behavior.
That makes the practical constraints private ones. Coastal South Carolina has a large rental and vacation-property market where breed and weight clauses in leases are routine, and homeowner insurance exclusions apply here as everywhere.

Whatever your state does, the two things worth confirming in writing before you commit are your own city or county code and your landlord, association or insurer, because private rules aren’t affected by any state law. Lowcountry summers
Charleston and the Lowcountry are humid in a way that upstate Greenville isn’t, and for this breed that difference is the whole story. Coastal summers need the full precaution set: middle of the day indoors, walks at either end, water constantly available. The upstate is noticeably easier.
Hurricane season is the other coastal consideration. A crate-trained dog that will load without a fight is far easier to evacuate than one that won’t, and a bully at full weight isn’t something you can carry down a flight of stairs in a hurry. Start the crate work in the first two weeks.
